La Borsarella
The eighteenth-century origin farmhouse “LA BORSARELLA” in Mondovì inherits its name from the ancient owners, the Counts Borsarelli di Rifreddo. It has been preserved almost intact after the arrangement and expansion of 1826 in the period of restoration followed by the Napoleonic storm; in his fields between Tetto Cassanio and the Chapel of San Paolo on 22 April 1796 the commander of the Napoleonic cavalry, General Stengel, was mortally wounded.
Careful and meticulous conservation and restoration work has restored all its charm: the interior rooms, the installations and the furnishings create a unique, warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The view is breathtaking: the Alps of the Sea embrace La Borsarella and its park, giving a fairytale show at any time of the day.
Indoor and outdoor spaces
At “La Borsarella” the spaces are designed to offer maximum freedom on any occasion.
INSIDE:
Two large halls for ceremonies, furnished to enhance their different exposures, can accommodate events with multiple guests.
Four private rooms , finely furnished and with a wonderful display.
All the premises are air-conditioned
OUTSIDE:
From May to September the large outdoor area exterior with a view of the Langhe Monregalesi hills turns into an outdoor restaurant, giving a unique breath and splendid moments on summer evenings.
The splendid illuminated park , of over 50 thousand square hectares, also embraces a large external dehor, flowers, trees, paths, a small lake and a fountain, a large space and a small corner of paradise .
At “La Borsarella” children are always guests of honor: baby sitter service, playground, animation, a menu dedicated only to them, and all attention so that the fun is assured.
