The eighteenth-century origin farmhouse "LA BORSARELLA" in Mondovì inherits its name from the ancient owners, the Counts Borsarelli di Rifreddo. It has been preserved almost intact after the arrangement and expansion of 1826 in the period of restoration followed by the Napoleonic storm; in his fields between Tetto Cassanio and the Chapel of San Paolo on 22 April 1796 the commander of the Napoleonic cavalry, General Stengel, was mortally wounded.
Careful and meticulous conservation and restoration work has restored all its charm: the interior rooms, the installations and the furnishings create a unique, warm and welcoming atmosphere.
